Funding

We are committed to providing you with affordable training by offering a variety of funding options. Depending on your eligibility, location, qualification/units of competencies/modules and individual circumstances at the time of enrolment, Partners in Training will assist you to explore your funding options.

Skills First Program

Partners in Training are contracted with the Victorian Government to deliver training under the Skills First Program. We have access to Skills First for eligible students training in a vocational training course in Victoria.

It is important that you understand that accessing a Skills First entitlement may impact your access to further government subsidised training.

JobTrainer Initiative

The JobTrainer initiative (JobTrainer) is a joint Commonwealth and State initiative that provides additional funding to increase access to free or low fee training places for young people and job seekers.

The normal Skills First eligibility criteria apply to JobTrainer but with two exceptions:
• No upskilling requirement
• No ‘two at level in a lifetime’ limit

A student can participate under JobTrainer if they are:
• 17 to 24 years old when the course starts; OR
• A job seeker of any age

Tuition fee concession rate (20%) will be granted students enrolling under JobTrainer initiative.

Students can only access JobTrainer initiative ONCE (except recommencement).

Limited courses and spots are available. Please contact our office for more details.
