This qualification will develop the skills required to manage services, departments and projects in a range of community organisations and government services.
It is designed for those already working in the environment who wish to upskill to a coordinator or middle management role. It covers management functions such as leadership and team performance, human resources, managing diversity, finance, government regulations and quality frameworks.
Health Care and Social Assistance is Australia’s largest and fastest growing industry, with a significant number of new jobs added over the past decade. Large shares of workers in this industry are employed as Professionals (42%) or Community and Personal Service Workers (31%).
Employment of Managers is projected to grow by 7.0% to May .
