This qualification is an entry level program designed for those who want to work in residential aged care facilities, community care or in their own homes.
The course focuses on providing care support to individuals to maintain their independence and well-being to bring dignity and meaning to their lives.
This qualification is superseded. You can still enrol in this course and will be contacted if you need to transition into the current version of the training product that we have on scope when it becomes available.

In Victoria, the number of people working as Aged and Disabled grew very strongly over 5 years:
