This qualification is designed for those wanting to provide personal care and assistance for the elderly living with a disability.
You will learn the necessary skills required to provide care for them including physical, emotional, psychological and behavioural leads to employment in aged care facilities, respite centres, day programs as well as disability homes and facilities.
In Victoria, the number of people working as Aged and Disabled grew very strongly over 5 years: *The most recent figures project that employment will increase from 177,200 in 2019 to 222,300 employed by 2024.
